Denise McDaniel is an oil painter best known for her plein air and landscape paintings.
Denise McDaniel’s art reflects a lifetime of study and practice that began with a love of children’s book illustrations and is informed by academic training and museum scholarship.
Denise received a BFA from Moore College of Art, majoring in fashion illustration. She worked professionally as a technical illustrator and graphic designer in government electronics. Retiring to raise three children, Denise has served in countless teaching positions. As a long time member of the Willingboro Art Alliance, Denise founded the WAA Portrait/Costume Workshop and is a Past President. Denise is also a member of the Rancocas Valley Plein Air Painters and a past organizer of the Burlington County Farm Fair Plein Air Painting Competition. Dense is also a member of the Princeton University Art Museum Docent Association where she enjoys studying and presenting the works of great masters, ancient cultures and world class contemporary artists.
